Description:
Stress is a part of life, and you can't always avoid it. But you can try to avoid situations that can cause it, and you can control how you respond to it. This three-hour course will discuss the concepts of stress management by delving into causes of stress and healthy ways to relieve stress or reduce its harmful effects. Participants will learn sources of both positive and negative stress, how to avoid negative stress, different ways to relax the body such as breathing exercises, muscle relaxation exercises, massage, aromatherapy, yoga, or relaxing exercises like Tai Chi.
